Dietitian Connection recently hosted a webinar about frailty titled, “What dietitians need to know about frailty in older people.” Older adults have higher risk of poor outcomes like falls, admissions/readmissions, and death; much of this risk is due to the general condition of frailty. In this webinar, Professor Ruth Hubbard explained the different approaches to measuring and managing frailty in older, vulnerable adults to improve clinical care across hospital, nursing home, and community settings.
