We are pleased to share that CMS has included an Improvement Activity (IA) focused on food insecurity and nutrition risk, submitted by the MQii Leadership Team last year, in the CY 2022 Quality Payment Program final rule (see p. 2353). All MIPS-eligible clinicians are able to implement this activity. This is the first IA to focus on nutrition and we are pleased for this new opportunity to further advance quality nutrition care.
