Recruiting Clinical and Community Organizations for the CONNECT Study

October 9, 2023

We are pleased to share that the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Research Department has received funding from the Administration for Community Living (ACL) to test a new referral model to better connect inpatient to outpatient dietetic care and meal provision for older adults who have been diagnosed with malnutrition. To learn more about the study, you can read the recent press release and visit the CONNECT study website. Please email with any questions for the study team. If you work for an inpatient facility or community meal provision organization that is interested in participating, please complete this interest and eligibility form. This project is supported by ACL (a division within the US Department of Health and Human Services) as part of an award totaling $3.99 million with 75% funded by ACL/HHS and 25% funded by the Academy. The contents are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily represent the official views of or endorsement by ACL/HHS or the US government.
