We are pleased to share that a manuscript based on the October 2022 ASPEN webinar about the Global Malnutrition Composite Score (GMCS), titled “Interprofessional Implementation of the Global Malnutrition Composite Score Quality Measure,” was recently published in Nutrition in Clinical Practice. Two members of the MQii leadership team as well as a physician who contributed to earlier testing of the quality measures that now comprise the GMCS are among the coauthors. The article summarizes the underlying rationale and significance of the GMCS and showcases clinical observations about integrating quality improvement and measurement into the acute care setting, as presented during the webinar.
