An article about examples of older adult nutrition programs in Canada, the European Union, and the US was recently published in Nutrition Today. Titled, “Are You Prepared for the Decade of Healthy Aging 2020-2030?” this article summarizes a panel from FNCE 2020 about the World Health Organization’s Decade of Healthy Aging (which began in 2020). The programs discussed have integrated screening for frailty and malnutrition into older adult care across the spectrum of settings and the talk (and now this article) highlighted the important role of nutrition in promoting healthy aging.
