Global Malnutrition Composite Score for IQR
The Global Malnutrition Composite Score quality measure is now available for 2024 hospital reporting.
The presentation will focus on recognizing the importance of the Global Malnutrition Composite Score (GMCS) measure inclusion in CMS’ Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) Program and the ability for hospitals to self-select this among other measures. Information about how to engage administrators and stakeholders and elements of the measure hospitals will need to report will be discussed. Speakers will outline how to interpret measure performance and how to begin malnutrition quality improvement.
