This webinar will examine recent research that questions current recommendations and the need to reassess. This discussion will also cover topics such as complementary amino acids required in plant-based diets and the ability of specific amino acids to influence various aspects of physiology. Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to: 1. List current dietary protein recommendations for 4 different age groups 2. Identify those populations where research suggests the need for increased protein intake for multiple risk reductions 3. Describe 2 clinical signs of inadequate or suboptimal protein intake
