The Global Malnutrition Composite Score quality measure is now available for 2024 hospital reporting.
Participants will learn how to:
• Examine the role nutrition optimization plays on the metabolic impact of surgery for patients with various levels of nutritional status.
• Identify strategies for successful implementation of perioperative and post-operative protocols to support nutrition optimization across the continuum of surgical care.
• Apply the knowledge of value prospective as it relates to enhanced recovery after surgery to communicate key metrics and talking points in the healthcare setting.
